A living design that
grows with your notes
The inspiration for ExLibris came from the way we store books. But instead of sticking to the classic bookshelf idea, we wanted something different — more alive, more organic. That’s why we used the metaphor of book stacking. In the app, the more notes a book has, the larger it becomes visually.
This creates a natural hierarchy based on how meaningful that content was to you. The design expresses this logic in an intuitive way, connecting function and visuals simply, yet meaningfully.

Touch, select, save
your notes, simplified
Instead of typing or manually transcribing, readers can now take a photo of a page and simply highlight the exact phrase they want to keep.
This feature reduces friction in the note-taking process, making it faster and more natural. By turning a gesture into an immediate action, users save time and keep their reading flow uninterrupted, while ensuring their favorite passages are never lost.
Key Learnings
ExLibris was a short but transformative project. Developed over the course of just one month, it challenged me to approach design with greater structure and intention. By moving through fundamentals, interactions, and solutions, I not only built a product but also reshaped the way I think about creating them.
This process pushed me to explore diverse references, expand my toolkit, and refine my ability to connect design choices with purpose. More than an academic exercise, ExLibris became a meaningful step in strengthening my perspective as a product designer and making my practice more complete and robust.
